Like grants, scholarships are “free” money that you do not have to repay. They are awarded to students who meet certain eligibility criteria. You may be eligible for a scholarship based on your grades and test scores, your intended major, any special talents you may have, your family history and heritage, athletic or leadership ability, or community service you have performed.
